Golfing

Tenby is the oldest established golf course in Wales (established in 1880), and is a fine traditional links course.  The Championship course is still hosting Welsh Amateur Championships, and is one of the finest tests for all standards of golf.

From the first hole to the last, you will never forget the layout of this renowned links course, as it maximizes all the natural features of this beautiful part of Pembrokeshire.  Due to its natural drainage the course remains playable all year and is seldom wet under foot.

Visitors are most welcome at this friendly club. The delightful lounge bar overlooks the course and offers some of the best catering in the area which is available all day.

Mountain Biking

The whole area is excellent for mountain biking and hiking with an abundance of well signposted footpaths and bridleways. If you want to mountain bike in the area then there is the excellent book ‘Mountain Biking in West Wales’ by Dave and Barbara Palmer available by post on this web site. This book has over 20 rides for the novice to the expert.

Rambling

For those people who want a real hiking challenge there is the Pembrokeshire long distance coast path. This path which is 180 miles long, starts at Cardigan in the north and finishes at Amroth in the South. Just because this path follows the coast don’t be fooled into thinking it will be easy. There are enough steep climbs to tire even the fittest person. For further information try www.pembrokeshirecoast.org.uk
